Weekend course (Thu – Sun)

Do you want to obtain your licence to operate pleasure craft in inland waters as quickly as possible without having to give up your entire holiday to do so? In cooperation with our partner Tokon, we offer a course to acquire the certificate to operate pleasure craft in inland waters for all those who would like to discover water sports in a short period of time on Lake Fleesensee.

You will be taught the theoretical and practical knowledge over one weekend, which will then be consolidated in practical situations. You will learn the most important manoeuvres in a motor boat, how to tie knots and find out what the buoys on the water mean. When you have passed, you can set off on a motor boat cruise around all the inland waters.

The theory lessons will cover the most important subjects as well as areas which require additional explanations to be able to understand them.
You therefore need to study the theory in detail before you start the course.

Schedule:
Thursday: 6 - 8 p.m. Theory
Friday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Theory & Practice
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Theory & Practice
Sunday: until around 1.30 p.m. Examination by the German Sailing Association (DSV - Deutscher Segler-Verband)

Achievement:
Training in theory and practice with subsequent examination to attain the certificate to operate motorized pleasure craft in inland waters

The examination to obtain a certificate to operate a motorized pleasure craft in inland waters can be taken at the earliest 3 months before the applicant reaches the age of 16! The course fees do not include:

- textbook (from EUR 19.90 Inland)
- examination papers (EUR 18.90 )
- examination fee DSV (approx. EUR 75.00)

The following documents are required and must be sent to the examination board 14 days before the course:

- Examination application form
- Passport photo
- Copy of driving licence
- Medical certificate (pre-printed form)
- Parental consent form (if a minor)
